And it rained on our parade!

Meet the Ching’s … Ashlee, Jeff & Connor! This wonderful family met me late afternoon on Saturday for a photoshoot. Ashlee and I had been emailing for a couple of weeks and at the end of each email we seemed to sign off with hopes for good weather. Well, the weather gods were not on our side. About half way through the shoot (which is always the point all involved get comfortable) the sky started to rain. Despite the rain we finished the shoot and like most Seattleites they just grinned and bared it and hoped for a descent outcome. Well, descent outcome is an understatement. There are more than a handful of wonderful and candid images that I just know they will love. So enjoy your sneak peek Ching family, rain and all!

Meet little Miss Ava and her big brother Peyton. These two cuties were so fun and so easy to photograph. Big brother Peyton knew just what to do with both little sister and the camera. I think he is a natural in both areas. I met up with these two and their momma mid day Saturday and had a fun little shoot with the weather clearing up enough for us to put Ava in a tutu topless! You know the saying “You look great in motherhood”? Well that is what came to mind when I went through the images of this momma with her 2 year old little girl. It is clear that she loves being a mom to her little one, with her smile saying it all. Despite the rain we managed to make the best of a wet Saturday morning. Hunkering in where we were covered like an umbrella underneath some lush trees. Although, it did not provide for a whole lot of variety it did keep us dry and this fun family did not seem to need variety. They were so natural together that the shoot just turned out perfect in my eyes. Enjoy the sneak peek!

Meet Leigh & Matt! They are engaged and clearly in LOVE. Matt actually played college baseball with Jeremy so I was so excited when he contacted me to do their engagement photos. I remembered from college that Matt was a good sport so I knew he would be up for playing and having a good time. I was pleased to find out that his partner in crime, aka finance’, was equally outgoing and willing to have fun.
