in honor of {seattle family & baby photography}

We often take for granted the very things that most deserve our gratitude. ~Cynthia Ozick

In honor of the memorial holiday I just had to post this session from Seattle. Meet Julia, her mom and dad. Julia’s dad is a member of our armed forces and I give thanks to him for the sacrifices that he makes but also to the sacrifices that his family makes as well. They all sacrifice so much so we all can have so much and feel so safe!

Courtney is a friend by way of my work at the University of Minnesota and I was thrilled when she asked me if I would photograph her new little girl, Julia who is just shy of 9 months. It was fantastic getting to see them, meet Olivia and Brad for the first time and chat up. You have a beautiful family Courtney! Enjoy your sneak peek!

forever young {seattle wedding photography}

They said I do and they celebrated into the night. I was honored to be asked by Lisa and Jeremy to document their wedding day. The groom is one of my brothers closest childhood friends and the bride is a personal friend. Both WSU grads they celebrated in Wazzu fashion. Great food, plenty of beverages and fabulous company! The wedding was amazing and the bride and groom were both equally amazing. Enjoy your sneak peek from the sandy beaches Mr. & Mrs. Young!

my boy turned 4 {nw arkansas childrens lifestyle photography}

He is getting so big! When did this happen? Time just doesn’t slow down and really it only seems to be ticking by faster and faster. Cohen turned 4 last Sunday. So hard to believe that 4 years ago he was a tiny 6lb little bean. Now he is in superhero mode. In full character most days. His favorite is batman! He even has given everyone in the family a superhero role. Jeremy is Alfred (batman’s butler), I am batwoman, and Cooper is Robin of course. So when party planning started it was a no brainer what the theme would be…. SUPER HERO. So we invited Cohen’s closest friends and celebrated with a make your own ice cream sundae, jump house, pinata, and playing in the sprinkler. The party was a hit and here are the photos to prove it!
