Meet Roy Anthony Madrid III otherwise known as “Trey”. Check out his great head of hair and wonderfully bronzed skin. (I get jealous of babies with darker skin than mine)
I met with Trey’s mom for the first time back in December. She had a vision for exactly what kind of newborn portraits she was wanting of her little bean growing inside her. She knew she wanted a shot of little Trey in the football helmet of Daddy’s favorite NFL team (safe to say Dad is a sports freak), she wanted a sock monkey hat and some shots of her little guy hanging in a sling from a branch (images to follow shortly). I hope I have met expectation as well as provided them with a little twist of my own on some images. I will be honest when a mom really knows what she wants I get nervous. I am a wing it kind of gal. I get to know the little one I am photographing and kind of let them determine the session and images that come from it. Little Trey was a sport going into the helmet. Poor guy, it did not look comfy but he slept through it all. I will be honest Trey gave me a little run… I think he may be a prankster. He would fall into a deep sleep (or what I thought was one) and then right when I thought I had him posed to perfection, he would startle, or jerk, or just stretch out. That is a little boy for you… a prankster. Well, Madrid family, enjoy your sneak peek and Amanda I hope I delivered. It was wonderful meeting tiny Trey. He is perfection!
