family {nw baby photography}

They came back for a little visit. Oh yes, The Van Dyke boys, Cohen and Sheppard. We got together for a little session to document just who they are at 4 months. So much has changed since I saw them last at their newborn session. These two are smiling, rolling over, and pushing up. Always a pleasure to visit with their mom and dad too. They are the kind of people that make you want to be part of their inner circle. Just look at them with their boys, they are full of smiles and this wasn’t just for the camera. I am pretty sure this is just who they are. This particular day was a family day and what a special way to celebrate the past with what is their future… Cohen and Shepp two very loved little guys. I cannot wait to see what another 4 months does to these boys. I see them again at 8 months and cannot wait. Thank you Van Dyke’s for making me a (small) part of your family day!

blog Alicia during newborn session Nov 2010

Rarely do I get to see myself at work. So when when little Sydney’s dad sent me a few snaps from his cell phone I wanted to share at least one. So this is just a tiny peek into what a newborn session looks like. This picture was taken while capturing frames that ended up looking like following. So for me it was fun to see me at work since I am the one usually behind the lens! Thanks Quinalty’s so fun to receive the snap shots.

thats my baby … {nw arkansas baby photographer}

My Cooper turns 6 months today and like most parents its hard to believe that the time passes so quickly. I however for some reason am okay with it. With Cohen not so much but with Cooper its okay. Every month brings on new adventures and phases and I enjoy every second so much that I cannot wait for more. His personality is a cross between super goofy and super chill with a bit of spunk to spice things up but only when he really wants to add it, which seems to be more and more here lately. I can honestly say the newborn phase with you Coop was a breeze! Sorry other mom’s it just was. He was that easy. You went from newborn to 6 months in zero to sixty. You were sitting at 4.5 months and crawling by 5.5. I hope this doesn’t mean you live your life zero to sixty! So Coop, my baby boy… happy six months. We love you to the moon and back. You bring us so much joy!

4 months already…{nw arkansas baby photography}

6 months ago his momma walked Jeremy, myself and Cooper out of the hospital as we took Cooper home for the first time. She was 6 weeks out from delivering her first baby at that time. I told her to give me a call, I would love to take pictures of her little one when he/she arrived (she did not know the sex). I was so pleased when she called and was equally please when she called to have Landon’s four month portraits taken. Steve and Katie feel like friends, old friends for that matter. Easy to talk with and share with and I love that. Landon at four months impressed me with his smiles, pushups and his almost sitting! So fun to see the Davis gang again.
