Love this little gal. She is so special in so many ways and I have loved photographing her since her newborn days. One thing is certain that this girl loves her feet. She has since she discovered them. These images are so Amelia… stoic, big eyed, calm and sweet. Enjoy!

Check out this sweet little boy. He is tiny, 5days old, 6 lbs, and belongs to a girlfriend from college. I photographed his big brother as a newborn when I was just starting to make the switch from sports to babies. When Britnie asked me to come down and photograph her new baby boy I knew I just had to make it happen. He was easy despite being particular. Little baby wanted to keeps his hands warm and close! I convinced Britnie to step in front of the camera and document just how amazing she looks as a momma! There is something about getting to see friends become mom’s or in this case have her second. Its just amazing to witness. My friends were all beautiful before babies but for whatever reason, the glow, the calm, the pure joy… they are just simply stunning with their children! Congrats Drake family and enjoy your sneak peek!

After a break from sneak peeks in attempts to keep fall portrait sessions a surprise to clients families for the holidays and holiday cards I am back. You can bet I have a ton of sessions to blog about. 38 total sessions from this fall (october + november alone)! Crazy, right?

I first met baby Avery, her sister and her momma at her newborn session a few months back and she came back to see me for her 3 month session. With her big eyes a full head of dark hair I was so impressed with her laid back demeanor. What is it about baby #2 that makes them so easy?!?! My second was easy and most all seconds I work with are too and Avery fits right in there. Big sister joined and I even convinced mom to jump in too. Thanks Hyman girls always fun to have some girl time.

Remembering Matt Turner…

Like so many others I have been personally saddened by the loss of my friend Matt Turner. I have many memories from my college days with Matt. I was fortunate to get to know his wife Julee through Matt as well. I was honored this time last year when Julee asked me if I would document their pregnancy and I was double honored when she asked me to photograph Preslee as a newborn. Matt and Julee waited so long to hold their baby girl and I am so happy for Matt that he was able to become a dad and experience all the love and joy that comes with becoming a parent. Matt loved Preslee more than anything. It is because of this love that as a friend and parent I would like to auction a few session options in honor of Matt and his family. All proceeds will benefit the Preslee Turner college fund.

My items will be listed with many other great items being auctioned off all week at Jennifer Gett’s blog. Check those many great items HERE. For those who do not know Julee, she is part of the blogging community. You can find her blog HERE. Her blogging friends have put together this auction as a show of support. It is auctions like these that will help Julee, Preslee and Matt’s family through this trying time. The massive amount of support that has been shown to Julee and Matt’s family speaks volumes for who Matt was and how he lived his life.

ITEMS FOR AUCTION:
All Sessions expire September 1, 2013

Item A – 1 Minis session: 30 minute session and digital files ($350 value). This includes the session fee and the mini digital file collection (10 images). Prints, canvases and other products may be purchased separately

Item B – 1 Session fee: ($125 value) This includes just the session fee only. Digital files, prints, canvases and other products may be purchased separately

Item C – 1 Session fee and digital file collection ($775 value). This includes the session fee and the digital file collection. Prints, canvases and other products may be purchased separately

Item D – 1 Session fee and digital file collection + $50.00 credit towards a canvas ($825.00 value) This includes the session fee, the digital file collection, and $50.00 towards a gallery wrapped canvas. Prints, canvases and other products may be purchased separately

Item E – 1 Newborn session fee and (25) custom birth announcements ($225.00 vlaue) This includes just the session fee only + 25 custom designed birth announcements. Digital files, prints, canvases and other products may be purchased separately.

Sessions are for NW Arkansas or Seattle area residents only. You can also give as a gift. For those is Seattle, I will be holding sessions in the Summer of 2013 and will indeed honor your session then.
