I just wanted to share with you how wonderful Angie Mader (formly Fitzpatrick) has been as a client. I photographed her wedding back in mid June. Usually it takes me about 4 weeks to edit a wedding and have images back to my client. Well, because of my pregnancy and seeing other clients Angie’s 4 weeks turned into 6 and then I had my preterm labor issue and then the baby and now 8 weeks later I have her discs in the mail to her. I promise clients this is not a typical time frame. I usually am right on my 4 week mark with weddings and 14 days with sessions. Having baby number two has slowed me but I am finally starting to catch up and check off all my editing of clients from “before baby”.

I did want to say a public thank you to Angie, Ben and their families for being so patient and understanding. I also wanted to post more pictures for you all to get excited about. I had the option of color but chose black and white because I think their story is told better that way. Angie was such a beautiful bride and Ben had an ease about him. I just know these two will last. So thank you Mader/Fitzpatrick families for your patience… your photographs are in route!

my boy…

I just love him! He is perfect to me in every way. Working on another photoshoot now and will post more when I have them. I have snapped so many shots of him that I need to do a post so soon I will be doing that. We are on day 8 with Cooper. Cohen started school this morning and here I am just watching my little man sleep, editing photos from session before his birth and soaking in every minute with Cooper since now I know how fast it goes by. This is my first time alone with Cooper without distraction, a house guest or Cohen and I love it. I am much less neurotic than the first time around. Maybe it is baby, maybe it is that I trust who I am as a mom now. Its my second rodeo so I am less on edge and I think that is what I LOVE about it so far. I just cannot wait to share him with family and friends that are at a distance.

announcing the newest beach boy

Meet my sweet little guy… Cooper Michael. I am a proud momma! I just could not wait to share him with my family, friends and clients so here you all go… a sneak peek of some of the first round of photos taken by me. I am having to do “sessions” of him in moderation because my back is killing. Guess I back labored more than I thought. Cooper was born on Tuesday, August 17th at 4:17pm. He was a much bigger boy than expected, weighing in at 7lbs 15oz and measuring 21 inches long. As of Friday he is 7lbs 9oz so really he has not dropped much weight which is great. He such a content little bean and I could not ask for a less demanding baby. I know things change with newborns but right now he seems so easy breezy which was not the case with his big bro. So family, friends and clients… enjoy your sneak peek of my little bug. I will post more as I get to them!

kissable face!

Don’t you think? I met up with Owen and his mom earlier this week. They are my final session before I give birth to my little guy. They were a great way to start my “so called” maternity leave. I say “so called” because I will still be editing and doing projects and oh yeah the new studio. Back to Owen…

Owen turns one at the end of the month so his momma had a great little romper made for him and even brought the most perfectly painted rocking chair for the session. Despite the 95 degree temps with humidity out the yin yang Owen did great and his mom was game for alley ways, dirty concrete, and sneaking into my favorite little field and barn. Clients like this… so willing and game for whatever create the best images. These are just six of the tons of shots I have to go through. I do not know how I am going to narrow down to just the best. Owen really was a perfect subject and I have endless shots to prove it.

Enjoy your sneak peek Hinson family and happy early first birthday Owen!
