my boy…

I just love him! He is perfect to me in every way. Working on another photoshoot now and will post more when I have them. I have snapped so many shots of him that I need to do a post so soon I will be doing that. We are on day 8 with Cooper. Cohen started school this morning and here I am just watching my little man sleep, editing photos from session before his birth and soaking in every minute with Cooper since now I know how fast it goes by. This is my first time alone with Cooper without distraction, a house guest or Cohen and I love it. I am much less neurotic than the first time around. Maybe it is baby, maybe it is that I trust who I am as a mom now. Its my second rodeo so I am less on edge and I think that is what I LOVE about it so far. I just cannot wait to share him with family and friends that are at a distance.

announcing the newest beach boy

Meet my sweet little guy… Cooper Michael. I am a proud momma! I just could not wait to share him with my family, friends and clients so here you all go… a sneak peek of some of the first round of photos taken by me. I am having to do “sessions” of him in moderation because my back is killing. Guess I back labored more than I thought. Cooper was born on Tuesday, August 17th at 4:17pm. He was a much bigger boy than expected, weighing in at 7lbs 15oz and measuring 21 inches long. As of Friday he is 7lbs 9oz so really he has not dropped much weight which is great. He such a content little bean and I could not ask for a less demanding baby. I know things change with newborns but right now he seems so easy breezy which was not the case with his big bro. So family, friends and clients… enjoy your sneak peek of my little bug. I will post more as I get to them!

I am doing some freelance work for a new pediatric practice here in Northwest Arkansas, Bentonville to be exact. I am doing everything from their website, to print ads, to prints for their lobby. I could not be more excited. I love being involved in something from the ground up. Makes me feel like I can really make it my baby. Below is a newspaper ad and a similar ad will be featured in the July issue of Peekaboo childrens magazine. That is right… its Cohen. I gave the clinic plenty of options to choose from for their print ads and this was the only ad containing my little Cohen and they selected it to be their grand opening ad! This by far is one of my favorite shots ever of Cohen so I love that they selected it. So between my work for the new practice and seeing clients, oh and prepping for baby #2, who is only two months out, I am pretty busy.

My little guy is two. His birthday has come and gone but we have his two year portraits to prove he is no longer a baby and he is officially a toddler or “little man” as his daddy likes to call him.
